The Soft Skills Campaign [Part 1]

Alright,
here came the day of the Soft Skills Campaign~
Me & my course mates were very anxious about our campaign
as we were the 1st group to present our campaign
to over 300 students included lecturers as well.
.

.
The day b4 our campaign,
we stayed back in Uni from 10am til the nez day 5.30am!!
Gosh, it's my 1st time stay back in Uni for that long period of time!!
We were doing those preparation stuff such as decorating the hall,
paste and parcel the backdrop for the campaign & press conference,
doing paper work and etc.

Anyway,
all of the hard work has been pay off!!
Although we did not have a marvelous campaign,
but I do wanna thank God that overall it's alright..

.
I wanna thanks to those who has stayed back with us til 5.30am!!
I won't mention who did not stay back but anyway thanks every1
esp.the Tutorial 1 students who had helped us alot during the campaign
in making this campaign a successful 1^^

This is the backdrop of our Soft Skills Campaign~
(The measurement of the cloth is 20ft x 7ft, it's really huge for us to paste all of the alphabets made by the Styrofoam on the cloth. Though it's not perfectly done, but at least our hard work paid off.)

Yeah..it's the welcoming performance by

whereby the VIPs were pressing the red button~
After pressing the button, balloons & confetti dropped from the ceiling~

Next,
it's the exhibition tour whereby the VIPs were escorted by a student who was responsible to explain the details of the info at the exhibition~

the food for the students not bad too~

Okay, after refreshment..
Let's get back into bizness!!
Mostly every campaign or event does have press conference,
we did have press conference for our campaign too^^

There were 3 persons sat in front who answering the questions from the journalists.
There's a camera shooting at the conference room too~
(The journalists were those students from Journalism courses and etc.)

While the press conference was goin on,
there's a talk by Ms.Lok, Manager of Dpt of Soft Skills Competency, UTAR.
The title of the talk is The Importance of Soft Skills^^

Before the campaign end,
we did have games for the audience~~
This was the so called "paste and parcel" game!!
Wow~ They were really concentrating to win the prize^^

After exciting games,
it's the Lucky Draw session^^
1st of all, we invite the representative from the
Ministry of Human Resources to pick some lucky no.~~

Next,
we invited Pn.Anita to gv out the prize to the lucky winner!!

At last,
we have invited Dr.Selva to present the grand prize
to a sweet lucky winner!!
The grand prize is the
"Half year of free gym and a laptop bag"!!

All of audiences went off with their goodies bags!!

Unpleasant moment..

Dear all,

I'm superb sorry that I did not update my blog for around a week.

There are 2 main reasons that why it's happened.

The reasons are:

1. My Internet access at home is totally make my life MISERABLE!! Want to know which broadband that I using?? The name of the broadband begin with "M", I'm sure the you guys knew it if ya stay in Malaysia.

Gosh, I've called for them so many times and their reason to me there is still "Internet issue". Thanks God that after complaining and complaining and also complaining, I could surf internet again since last nite.

2. Since last week, I have spent most of my time at the preparation job of my upcoming campaign on nez wednesday (Oct 22). The topic of our campaign is Soft Skills campaign which I think it's kinda a boring topic whereby not much ppl aware and acknowledge what are Soft Skills about. Anyway, that's the reason we are organising this campaign.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my emotion towards the preparation job of my campaign. I'm totally dissapointed with what my lecturer told us, I knew that we did wrong at 1st, and I knew that she scolded us because of she care of our campaign and our assesment mark as well.

My group is the 1st group who are going to present follow by 7 other groups. Tell the truth, my group is the 1 and only grp that being looked down by our lecturer. She has given us the lowest mark in our proposal. I couldn't say that what we had done are all correct but sometimes the way she scolded us made us felt damn dissapointed+depressed.

Just wanna ask you guys, is Lim Kok Wing a very Good Uni/Coll?? Why did one of my lecturers kept praising at Lim Kok Wing's students?? This lecturer was an ex-lecturer at Lim Kok Wing b4. If I'm brave enough, I will tell her to teach at Lim Kok Wing forever and don't bother to teach at my Uni.

There's lotsa problems/issues hav happened in my campaign group. I know that we have to follow what we hav proposed in our proposal, but Why can't we change it during our execution?? We change it because of the idea being proposed is not good enough so we would like to come out with a better one..but Why did our lecturer stop us from doing so?

All of newly added idea gotto abolish because of the reason that we cannot change from we hav proposed in the proposal. All of our excitement to perform a good campaign by executing the newly added idea is completely vanish.

I knew that I should not give up at this moment cz there's still hope even though we left 1 seconds. So, I gotta cheer myself up and push myself to do the best although we are in a very "bitter"+"sour" situation right now.

I would like to thanks to my launching member esp. Ms. Cat who always cheer me up and assist me whenever I've sorrow & difficulty. Thanks dear for ya unconditionally support+ love. I will try my best to be a good leader of launching unit. Please forgive me, my dear members, if I had hurted or penalised you.

Dear all readers, I would like to request to ya all to pray for my campaign and my Final year project as well. Pray that everything will go smoothly and successfully even though I'm not in the pleasant circumstances now. That's all for today..Hopefully I could update my blog again 2mr. Good Day every1.
