as I know our Lord Jesus Christ is by my side all the time^^

Today's post is just a short 1~
I'm contented that I've got the time to meet my high school's mates on Tue's night!!

Many of us are not in our hometown (Sandakan) now but I'm pleased that we can catch up again to get to know the current life of each one of us. It's a great night even though our "yum char" session last for about 3 hours. Some of us did go off early but I enjoyed it a lot. I knew we may not meet that often but I sincerely wish all of my YY (Yu Yuan) High School's mates will do very fine in their future undertakings and may God bless them abundantly. I hope we are going to have such gathering once in a blue moon in the future^^

Hello to all of my dearies,
really sorry for the great MIA again!!!
Due to the hectic study life that I had earlier,
I've bounded to be less motivated and lazy to update my blog!!!
Feel so guilty to the max!!

Well, I'll not let it be in that way as I'm trying my best now to update it^^
Actually, I'm having 3 weeks of holiday now and it's only left 1 week!!
Gosh, why time flew that fast??
How I wish there is a time machine or Mr.Doraemon by my side^^

In this post, I would like to share a brief review of
what ~~have I done~~ I have done in the 1st semester of my studies in Tuaran, Sabah.
Without any delay, let's have a peep below^^

~In January~

1. Stuffs that I received on the 1st day I reached IPG Kampus Kent, Tuaran [24/1/11].

2. The 1st group pic of my TESL class with the Exco during our orientation week [27/1/11].

~In February~

1. Group pic of my class after the Mini Marathon, it's a super TIRING day but after all it's FUN. [12/2/11].

2. Only 17 out of 20 of us snapped pic during the Kejohanan Olahraga Tahunan (KOT) in Stadium Penampang. It's a 3 days event and my task was helping out as the Red Cresent member. It's actually my 1st time joining Red Cresent Society and I felt kinda nervous and blurred. [18,19,21/2/11]

3. Group pic after our 4D3N B.I.G (Bina Insan Guru) camp with the camp commander. To me, it's a super exciting experience as we did go for kayak-ing, hiking in the jungle where we walked across those scary swamp!! [22-25/2/11]

~In March~

1. Pic of the Fingerlady vege.which me and my group partner-Evelyn planted for our Kemahiran Hidup's assignment. It's surprising that it grew well as we planted it in a not-so-sure condition. Will show you guys more pic regard to the final product of it! [10/3/11]

2. Group pic me and my partner with the teachers as we went for the S.B.E (School Based Experience) in SK.Kinasaraban, Kota Belud for 2 weeks. We were so glad that all of the teachers in that school were so good to us and it's a great pleasure to learn so much from them in becoming a good teacher. [21/3-1/4/11]

~In April~

1. Pic of us with our Tennis's instructor/coach after the Tennis Tournament among the IPG staffs. We were actually the umpires on that day and it's good to have such experience. [1-3/4/11]

2. Pic of me with my own "Batik" masterpiece. To me, it's a new stuff to learn and I enjoyed it a lot!! [8/4/11]

3. Pic of us at the pottery factory. I did blog about this earlier and you guys may check it out [HERE}. [14/4/11]

4. Pic of my cross stitch piece. Frankly, my dearest cousin did give a little help in it too. Well, I'm not that feminine to do such craft and it really took a lot of my time to accomplish it. Thanks God that it's done in the end. [19/4/11]

~In May [part 1]~

1. Some of our "Batik" masterpieces which exhibited during our Pendidikan Seni Visual exhibition. It's a 2 days exhibition which exhibiting our masterpieces in different areas. [5-6/5/11]

2. Pic of my group member during the Red Crescent Society Camp. Again, a 4D3N camp whereby all of us were feeling tired and sleepy all the time as there were lot of activities. [9-12/5/11]

3. Pic of our dearest TESL lecturers with us during Mdm.Rosemary's birthday celebration at Kampung Nelayan Floating Seafood Market Restaurant in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. An enjoyable and memorable night that I will treasure deep down inside my heart! [13/5/11]

4. Us at the closing ceremony of "Mini Kejohanan Olahraga Tahunan" which organised and participated by us. It's a super fun day and thanks God that most of the preparation stuffs did sail smoothly. [21/5/11]

~In May [part 2]~

1. Another great night of us at 1 Borneo shopping mall, Kota Kinabalu. We did go for bowling session with 1 of our lecturers and some of us went for K-session later on. It's a great day for me to release my stress in the midst of our hectic life. [21/5/11]

2. Pic of our 3D teaching aid for Red Crescent Society. The umbrella on the left is the most outstanding and did impress the lecturer very much. Bravo to the group who did that. Indirectly, I've gained new ideas to produce more creative teaching aids from this activity. [25/5/11]

3. Haha..that's me during my short session of micro-teaching for TESL. Actually, my English proficiency still very low and I'm super afraid to be an English teacher in the future. I pray to God that it will improve so that I can teach my pupils well in the coming days. [25/5/11]

4. Me and my group members for Kemahiran Hidup's assignment which was the last assignment being handed in on our 1st semester. This assignment was about designing or inventing a new tool. We have chosen to create a multi-purpose rack by using bottles and mounting board. [26/5/11]

A day to the pottery factory

Hello guys,
what's up?? what's up??
I'm still the same.. having super hectic life over here~
As a result, I always fall asleep during most of the classes..
It's really tiring!!

Anyway,
just wanna share couple of pics that I took yesterday
as a little update for this 'kesian' blog~~

On 14-4-11,
our class went to Tong Hup Lee Pottery Factory
which is around 4-5km away from our institute^^
.
.
Oh ya, I think I've forgotten to share that I'm majoring in English-TESL
and my minor(s) are Living Skills (Kemahiran Hidup) & Arts (Pendidikan Seni Visual)~
.
.
That's the reason why we went to pottery factory in order to make our own masterpiece besides checking out the process of how a pottery piece being produced^^

Thanks to the "dark guy" who helped me a lot in it..

Actually, I didn't do much.. he's the 1 who made most of it.. I just gave him the idea of which pattern that I wanted to do and he did most of it~ I think that's because they did not want to waste a lot of time in teaching us since there were 20 of us queuing up.. hmm.. that's not the right idea, isn't it?? Anyway, we did try to make 1 by our own after every1 had done with their own masterpieces.. At least, we can "dirty" our hands to the max!! :P Between, the guy in blur shirt is the boss of this factory^^

Auld Lang Syne [part 1]

Dear all,
I would like to inform y'all that I was not longer staying in KL.
Please don't get me wrong, I was not running away from the 'Ah Long'/Shark Loan k?? :P

Superrrrrr good news is I got the offer to study in Perguruan Maktab^^
I've been posting back to Sabah (my hometown).

Even though the maktab is quite far from my house which is 6-7 hours of journey,
but I'm still extremely happy that I got this offer as it's not easy to get it
which I mentioned in my previous post earlier..

Actually,
I received the offer on 17th Jan and have to register myself in maktab by 24th Jan^^
And so, I only have 3-4 days to pack my luggages which is so hectic to me!!

Anyway,
thanks God for being so kind to me that my colleagues & friends

Gosh..that's super exciting!!! What if his car bangs someone/car??

Yes, this movie will be officially released today (7th Jan 2011)!!

My 1st impression when I looked at the poster, I thought it was a so-so movie~~

After watching it in the cinema,

it is indeed a super exciting movie!!

Very very exciting movie which kinda leads to a horror type of movie~

But afterall, the storyline is awesome!!

This is a highly recommended movie from me~

You won't feel bore from the start to end instead of being alert all the time!!

Unless you are sleepy or restless~~

Why do I say so??

You gotta watch it by your ownself!! :P

I'm kinda 'kiasu' that I've got my own too!! *grin*

1. Cultivate book reading habit~
(I'm a super lazy person when it comes to book reading. In order for me to gain more knowledge & also because of a lil' bit 'kiasu-ness', I will try my best to read 10 pages in a week).

2. Say 'NO' to last minute~
(Yes, many of you may have the same habit just like me where do things at the very last minute. I admit that sometimes the results of doing things at last minutes are bad. But I just can't help myself with it since I'm a super lazy person. So, I will try my best to say 'NO' to it!)

3. Cultivate money saving habit~
(Seriously, till now I don't have any extra money in my bank or even my wallet. Yes, wallet..don't get me wrong..cz i don't like purse..I do my have coins in my piggy bank but I will use it when I'm totally broke. I wish I can save RM 1 a day as a way to encourage me to have such habit till the end of my life.)

4. Be steady & alert~
(I've always being so clumsy + careless when an assignment given to me. I will always forget minor..minor things that I should have done. So, I will always remind myself to double check or even triple check!!)

5. Be a good Gf~
(Frankly, I'm not a good Gf to my dada. I'm a super hot-temper person. I'm easily get jealous. I'm selfish, inconsiderate and also everything bad that you can think of. Gosh, I just can't stand with who I am. Thanks to my dada for always forgives me of my bad deeds.)

I think that's all I can think of~
Let's cheers that I could achieve all of what I've written for my 2011 resolution^^

I've a greatest wish that I hope I could get into Maktab Perguruan this month as the result will be announced on 22nd Jan'11. If you are aware of it, it's actually not easy to get into Maktab Perguruan if compare to 10-20 years back because there are tons of degree holders are applying for it. Please pray for me ya.. thanks in advance^^

It's just 5 days away from my all-time favourite festive season!!

To be precised, it's about the hospitality given by MAS airlines^^

but I've forgotten when was my 1st time~

ever since Air Asia stated that 'Everyone can fly' with a low price~

Last Monday on 25th Oct,

I've celebrated the annual Children's Day!!

Sounds that I'm still a kiddo right??

Though I really childish & I do admit that :P

It did recall back those times of mine when celebrating Children's Day~

I miss being a kiddo cz that's the most precious moments

It's my very 1st time going to a concert which presented by an International Artist!!
How am I going to lose this chance by not going to it right??
To be frank, I enjoyed this concert to the max!!

I've been to 'Sesame Street Live' show entitled 'When Elmo Grows Up'!!
Once again, thanks MixFM for the generous + wonderful tickets!!
It's being held in Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil, Malaysia^^

To sum up the storyline,

it's a musical type of show which presenting different types of occupations that Elmo's friends would love to be when they grow up.. Surprisingly, Elmo loves all of the occupations. However, he doesn't know what he really wants for his future but he wanted to try out all of the occupations that his friends has presented. At last, Prairie Dawn and Big Bird encourage him that he can actually tries out all of the occupations that he like in the future and it's nothing wrong at all. So, this is what the title (When Elmo Grows Up) about^^

this is a worth-to-watch show!!

It really brought back lotsa sweet memories of my childhood

most of the Sesame Streets casts in this show will go down ftom the stage for several times in around 2-3 minutes so that the V.I.P seats audiences can take their pics, shake their hands or even hug them!!

I was so envy at them but too bad

I was not sitting at the V.I.P seats~~

Anyway, not to complaint so much cz I gotta be grateful

that I got the tickets for free and able to watch this show joyfully^^

I almost cried when the show has ended cz

it reminded me of my late father who loved me so much

for he always buys me tons of toys & brings me to wherever he goes..

School holidays are already started!!!

For me,

I'm going the "Di Zi Gui in English" seminar for 1 week^^

Thanks to my school board for selecting me to participate in this event^^

I wanna share with you the food that I had when I stay in the resort

during my trip to Kukup Fishing Village with my colleagues^^

This's the resort that I stayed^^
No english name for this resort..but wait..let me translate it in "Cantonese"~

Since Kukup is famous with seafood as it's located at the fishing village,
you shouldn't miss the seafood just like the fish we had in the pic above!!

The gravy is just taste nice^^
Lot of my colleagues just can't get rid of "drinking" the gravy!! :P

Due to my superb tight working schedule, I could only post it today.

I've just celebrated my 20++ b'day last 17th July!!

I would like to post some pics of what gifts I've received~

Although most of the gifts I received were from my dada,

I'm still grateful & kinda childish to show what I've received~

1st and for most,

~Sand Art~

My dada bought it at "I-city" & purposely asked the artist to write "Happy Birthday Lisa". Guess what, the artist's so talented that he wrote the wish in the bottle but not outside of it!! Freaking Cool right??

Since, I'm a Mickey + Minnie Mouse fans!!

My dada's surely not forget to buy gifts which regarding to it!!

I know many of you would go for this when you were still a kid right?? I've forgotten what's this call. Can anyone tell me what's this call?? Actually, this is just a toy and you cannot get the "capsule" out when you spin it.

Superb like it where those "capsules" are just like the same in real but unfortunately I cannot spin it out.

*heart* this much where there are Donald+Daisy add on to my Mickey+Minnie family!! The Silver Mickey+Gold Minnie on top are limited edition modules!!

Mickey Mouse in the movie- Fantasia of 1940's!! Whoa..it's already 60 years of age and lotsa ppl are still loving this module!! He's cool especially in the "wizard" costume!!

The kiddie age of Mickey's pen!! I havn't tried to use it but I think it's going to be cute+cool cz as you can see from the label that the hands and legs can move when you press the button on it!!

I find this very cute where we can resemble it and put it in a transparent shelf. You can see that there are plate, glass, spaghetti, biscuit, fork+spoon and not forget Ginger Ale drink.

My dada's kinda guilty of his carelessness for leaving my previous ipod in the living room and caused it's being stolen. Now, he bought a new 1 from HK as a compensation to me. Thanks to him a lot!! *heart*

I'm gonna show you the gift that received from my friends!!

Trendly Lomo ToyCam!!

I got this from my frenz- LC & MC!! This is a superb famous ToyCam where everyone loves it cz the picture produced has been edited with "Lomo" style!! It uses "film" just like the old-school camera and no battery at all cz it's a manual ToyCam!! *heart*

Cupcakes!!

One of my colleagues (Kak Nor) who is a bakery expert as well did this for me!! Guess what, this was her 1st attempt to do cupcakes and it came out a very success attempt!! Maybe some of you would feel disgusting when you heard the name as "Mud". Well, you should taste it 1st by your ownself cz you can't "judge a book by its cover"!! It's kinda too sweet for me but the texture is nice especially they have chocolate ice-cream in the middle v thick chocolate sauce on top of it added & peanut sprinkles^^

You should bear with the sticky-ness cz after all it's a "Mudpie"~~

This is a limited dessert in MFM cz they made this in a limited amount everyday. So, you do not have to worry that they are serving you "not-fresh" dessert. So, grab it as fast as you can!!

me & my friends drove to Ipoh~
Yeap, Ipoh mali..Ipoh mali..*grin*

By looking at the I-P-O-H sign above,
it always reminds me of H-O-L-L-Y-W-O-O-D sign as well^^

The gravy tastes not bad too and serves good with rice~

The Bean Sprouts!!

I've noticed that the bean sprouts are
kinda "big" & "short* if compare with those we had in KL.
Not only that, it's crunchy enough and you will ask for more!!

The price is quite reasonable.
There were 4 of us and the total price is only RM34.80.
(included 4 drinks + a bowl of "hor fun")

Indochine Bar + Restaurant since 1968.
They are serving Indonesian + Chinese cuisines.
Their very 1st restaurant was born in 1968 @ Hong Kong.
Now, they have their 3rd outlet in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia^^

So, this is the reason why I spoke "Malay" just now!!
"Malay" language is kinda similar with "Indonesian" language~

When it comes to a new restaurant in town,
the main question that everybody is going to ask is,
"Does the food taste good?"

~Semur Lidah (RM32)~

*MUST TRY THIS*

This is the best & recommended dish in IR1968. Almost everyone will surely order this "juicy" dish. You might "pause" and think what meat is this actually.. Well, it's an Indonesian Ox Tongue with sweet semur sauce!! Between, the "Ox tongue" grilled with butter and you just can't get rid with the sweet smell of it. Don't freak out, please~ (Belum cuba, belum tau..sekali cuba, tiap-tiap hari mau^^ :P)

~Gado Gado (RM18)~

This is a very traditional "Indonesian Salad". It consists of bean curd, bean sprout, cabbage, cucumber, lettuce, potato, egg, prawn cracker with the homemade peanut sauce. For your info, the "peanut sauce" kinda taste like the "satay's sauce". However, their homemade peanut sauce tastes far more delicious!! They serve this in a very-well mannered where the peanut sauce does not directly pour above the Gado Gado. A "Must Eat" dish if you really wanna experience Indonesian food.

~Perkedel Jagung (RM15)~

I find this is a "warmth" starter as it's a home-recipe. It's a homemade Indonesian Shrimp Corn Cake. You are going to love it, esp.girls because the texture is not oily at all. One bite and you can taste the fragrance of corn and shrimp at the same time.

~Ikan Asam (RM38)~

This dish caters for the "Spicy Lovers" out there!! This Spicy and Sour Fish will surely capture your taste-bud once you have a sip on the spicy+sour gravy. By looking at it is not enough, you gotta taste it since the fish is boneless and the perfect ingredients gravy serves well with plain rice.

~Tahu Goreng Telur (RM18)~

If you wanna have a light meal, this is one of the dishes that you should order. You will find it interesting because it is Fried bean curd and egg with homemade peanut sauce.

~Ayam Asam Kacang (RM22)~

This is the dish that Malaysians shouldn't miss!! Well, none of the restaurant out there except vegetarian doesn't serve chicken. If you only prefer to eat chicken, this is gonna be your next favourite dish!! A good mixture of fried chicken with peanut & plum sauce.

~Sotong Kuning Goreng (RM38)~

Tired of flipping the menu?? Fresh squid fried with yellow ginger, salt and pepper is another recommended dish you should try.

~Nasi Goreng Spesial (RM25)~

Wanna look out for something new besides eating the nasi goreng that you always have?? Check out this special fried rice with 2pcs chicken satay, fried egg, prawn cracker & vege.

~Nasi Kuning Campur (RM25)~

Bored with white plain rice? This yellow ginger rice with beef rendang, fried chicken , egg, prawn crackers will definitely satisfy your extraordinary taste-bud. Guess what, Indonesian used to have Nasi Kuning on Sunday only. Google it if you wanna know more^^

P/s: Some of you might find it cute why does the rice assembles in cone-shaped right? Well, this a purely Indonesian tradition on how they serve the rice.

~Sop Shark (RM20 per person)~

This chinese double boiled Shark's Bone soup is more into Chinese cuisine. A very tender +smooth taste with shark's fin added in it.

~Sop Buntut (RM12 per person)~

The famous soup in IR1968 which is none other than this Indonesian Ox Tail soup. With only a sip of it, you could taste the seducing aroma and I'm sure you wanna ask for more!!

~Sop Wanton (RM15 per person)~

Another chinese cuisine of Chinese double boiled prawn soup with wanton. This soup is filled with strong prawn taste with soft delicate wantons added^^

~Ice Lemongrass Ginger Tea (RM10)~

A tropical drink & you will find it very refreshing. With the mixture of lemongrass and ginger tea, you can rely to it in order to cool yourself down from the hot weather!! Love this a lot~

~Fresh Peach Tea (RM12)~
[New drink]

Personally, I love the ice-blended fresh peach on top of the tea. It's an amazing drink as I'm a "Tea lover" and I just couldn't get rid of the desirable taste of it.

~Mango Kiwi (RM12)

A very good of Healthy Fruity Mix of Mango + Kiwi & most importantly 100% natural wild honey! It tastes mild sweet & a little bit sour taste of Kiwi.

~Sour Plum Juice (RM12)~

[New Drink]

A perfect drink for those who loves sour plum taste. You should order this after a heavy meal where it is good for digestion so that you won't easily get fat!! :P

She's not only good in acting but she is also a great business-lady!! Guess what, she is one of the designers for IR1968 and she is creative enough to do arrangements for special dinners, events & etc.

P/s: If you wanna get to know her more, you can add her fanspage in Facebook. For your info, she is also participated in the chinese local drama-Age of Glory 2 which aired on NTV7 from Mon-Thurs at 10pm. Thanks to her for the awesome arrangement on the Food Review Session in IR1968.

This good-looking guy is Mr.Hudson Chang. The co-owner of IR1968. He's the one who gave us fruitful introduction with explanation on the food and drinks and not forget a little bit history of IR1968. A very generous guy who has great passion in running an Indonesian & Chinese mixture of restaurant. Not forget, thanks him for his good effort.

Before we left, I'm kinda honoured to present the appreciation gifts to Debbie Goh as a token to thanks her for giving us the chance to have Food Review session at her restaurant-IR1968. Thanks bro.Henry who desgined the "Appreciation letter" where we could sign our signature on it.
